It has been a very long while since I have posted a blog on my website. But I will do my best to continue blogging.

I will be blogging more about sports, entertainment and on a few occasions on my business activities.

Let us begin, my new nickname is African Expert. If you have been on a few sports pages on Facebook you will see my comments followed by the hashtag #AfricanExpert. In all my blogs you will see the reason why.

The weekend just gone was full of great sportsmanship in Rugby, Football and Boxing. I did not catch up properly with the Rugby and other sports but just glimpse highlights. Only Boxing and Football caught my eye.

I am Chelsea Football Club supporter and it feels very good to see them at the top of the Barclays Premier League. Their game against West Brom was what I expected decided by quality prevailing. Tony Pulis always sets up his side very strong and extremely organized. Diego Costa is just an exceptional player, Conte is proving to be so far a brilliant manager. The Serie A and Serie B of course is different compared to the BPL. 9 straight wins 2 goals conceded. I think regardless of the team it is a remarkable record to have. Now onto Man Utd vs Tottenham, it was game of few goals but there was only going to be one winner at Old Trafford and that was of course Man Utd. Yes they have been on a poor run of late. But Ander Herrera was simply spine to their movement and of course Henrikh Mkhitaryan had a point to prove. With a well taken goal assisted by Herrera. Liverpool and West Ham drew which was expected considering the form of their goalkeepers. But the most impressive result of the week was from Leicester City who thrashed Man City 4-2. Vardy with a hat-trick and to think he was criticized for his poor form. When week in week out he has been getting into positions but not clinical. It happens to many good strikers. I would love to do a full round up properly of football. But I have to get to the boxing. But my stand out match was the Leicester City.

Let's be honest heavyweight boxing has been shocking. I grew up in the era of a long list of great boxers like Lennox Lewis, Audley Harrison...etc. AJ vs Molina was not a great fight but it sure did humble Molina. AJ won in the third round. His next match is against Klitschko in April. I personally feel regardless of his age this will be AJ's biggest test. I would like to see AJ vs Haye.

The best fight was Dereck Chisora against Dillian Whyte. Blow for blow, reminiscence of the boxing era I grew up watching. The hype for the fight lived up to the expectations. One thing I think that needs to change, is this split decision. I think what needs to be introduced is the winner to be announced by knocking out the opponent.

I think it is only appropriate as an African Expert to mention about an African football league. You can follow their league via

Also did you know Al-kebulan was one of the ancient names for Africa.
