Top 20 Daily Duppy continues…

We are finally at number 1 and it goes to Swiss

Why? Bars after bars after bars after bars. He went straight in from the start. He sounded like he was just having fun with the way his flow is so relaxed. In fact he even says it. So many lines stand out.

This is evidence of his opening bars in Rap Dis by So Solid Crew. Where he says “I’m a DJ but I heat up mics when I flow”

But go ahead and listen for yourself.

Now that my Top 20 Daily Duppy is over. I will go back to reviewing music and movies.

My Top 20 Daily Duppy continues…

At number 2…

Ghetts & Wretch 32 2nd one

Why? Let’s start with Ghetts. I think he is very much a skilled MC. I like how he can have so many mad flows and then slows it down so you can catch certain bars. The last part was just a mwadness with the double and triple meaning.

He went in right from the start.

Why Wretch 32? Do you understand how his flow is so dope that his bars seem simple. But they are not. I feel like he is one of the bests. He has been ever since he released Punctuation back in the Channel U days.

They are both joint at number 2. It’s funny because both are in a group called The Movement.

At number 3…

Wretch 32 his first one

Why? Wretch is a monster with the bars. From start to finish the bars have double meanings. Plus his flow is like, “I know I am the best, but let me give them a lil warm up”. Wretch has to be one of the greatest lyricists. It’s them ones when you listen to it over again and clock the meaning of other bars.

At number 4…

Cadet

Why? He is hands down one of the best lyricists out of the UK. I have said this before during the Bluetooth days. Ok maybe I was a little biased because we are from the same endz. But the fact that now he is being more consistent. You can hear his passion and the delivery is super on point. He is so good you have to say his name three times lol. Cadet, Cadet, Cadet 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

But for real he has bars in this. If the pictures weren’t up I doubt you would have got the UK music scene wordplay. This brudda is too much.

At number 5…

Cashtastic 2nd Daily Duppy

Why? I’m a sucka for dope flows and dope beats. He had a hook as well that was very catchy. But there was a bar in there that stood out to me. Which he extended on when he was done. It was very inspirational and I salute him for that. He didn’t have to but he did. He may have just saved a lot lives. You never know who is watching. One moment can change your life.

Number 6…

Stormzy

Why? Some say he is for posh white kids not for the endz and his bars are weak. But in truth Stormzy is a different breed of MC. This Daily Duppy he spits over a classic and he didn’t let me down. This was an instrumental that Kano, Tinchy Stryder, Demon and I think Ghetto as well spat over. I even used this instrumental for a college project.

Anyways let me tell you why he is number 6. It’s simply because he has bars. Nope not going to name the ones that stood out. But his delivery is on point and his flows are impeccable. His energy is mwad. I like how he just goes in. Just a pity it was short.

Top 20 Daily Duppy continues…

At Number 7…

Krept and Konan

Why? These young kings are the punchline kings. If the video editor did not edit this video. I guarantee you that most of Krept’s bars would go over your head. I wish Konan had a longer part and they went back to back like back in the day.

But when it comes to lyrics. They never fail to deliver. They are just in a different league all together.

But with that said come back tomorrow to see who is at number 6.

At number 8…

AJ Tracey

Why? Not only is his flow ridiculous but his football wordplay is insane. It would be stupid of me not to include this brudda in my top 20.

That is all.

Top 20 Daily Duppy continues…

At number 9…

Jaja Soze and Mr Sozah,

Why? In all honesty, I like honesty and integrity in bars. Even the title is called Creative Struggle. I don’t even need to go into depth of how under-rated Jaja Soze is. Mr Sozah is rated highly but he doesn’t make enough music. But in this Daily Duppy these two just keep it all the way 100.

See for yourself.
